The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is shaping up as a serious upgrade over past S-series tablets. Here is a quick look at what the leaked specs suggest so far.
The tablet keeps a slim profile at just 5.1mm thick. It uses a glass front paired with an aluminum frame and aluminum back for a sturdy feel. Samsung is also expected to bring IP68 dust and water resistance, so the tablet should survive splashes and short dips. Stylus support carries over, and the body uses what Samsung calls Enhanced Armor Aluminum for extra durability.
Leaks point to a large 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. Resolution comes in at 1848 x 2960 pixels on a 16:10 ratio, giving a sharp and spacious canvas for work or media. The screen-to-body ratio sits around 90.8 percent, so bezels should stay slim.
On the back, rumors suggest a dual-camera setup: a 13MP wide lens with autofocus paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens. Both video and photo modes should support HDR and panorama shooting, with 4K recording at 30fps. Up front, a 12MP ultrawide selfie camera handles video calls and selfies, also topping out at 4K@30fps.
Power reportedly comes from a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, built on a 3nm process. The octa-core CPU mixes high-performance and efficiency cores, paired with a Mali-G1 Ultra GPU for graphics. Samsung is expected to offer 12GB to 16GB of RAM, depending on the storage variant.
